Kenya eTA / Evisa requirements for Djiboutian citizens

If you are a Djiboutian and are planning a trip, you can now obtain an electronic visa instead of visiting the Kenya embassy. The application is entirely online, and kenyaimmigration.org will assist you every step of the way. All you have to do is go to the website and follow the instructions. We designed an application process that takes less than 10 minutes, and you can get your Kenya visa for Djiboutian citizens in as little as 5 hours.

The Kenyan authorities have recently changed the entry requirements. Previously, you needed to apply for an e-visa before you arrived. They have now replaced this with an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), which you still need to apply for before arriving in the country.

We have created a simple step-by-step guide to help you with this. This process is for single entry only. If you enter Kenya multiple times, you may need to apply for a multiple entry visa. If you think you will need this visa, please let us know and we can assist you with the application.

Please note that if you travel to another country in East Africa and return to Kenya, you will be able to re-enter Kenya using a single entry Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). If you are only transiting through Kenya, arriving and departing on the same ticket, and not leaving the airport, you do not need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA).
