How long does it take to process Kenya's e-visa?
The average time to receive a Kenya visa is presently three working days. Of course, for these periods to be respected, your visa application to Kenya must be submitted in proper form.
The time we just gave you is an indication and is an average rather than a maximum duration. It is impossible to guarantee a time difference for a Kenyan visa because it is determined by the speed with which the Kenyan e-Visa Portal reviews these applications.
Some applications are subject to additional tests that take longer to complete; in such circumstances, the processing period will be more than three days. As a result, you must apply for your Kenya visa at least several weeks in advance of your trip.
However, the Kenya e-Visa Portal also provides some urgent services for visitors that help save time for traveling:
- Urgent: your visa will be processed in 48 hours, but it will charge a little service fee.
- Super Urgent: the visa will be completed in 24 hours from your documents provided fully and the fee will be higher than.
Please note that the Government fee is paid for the Government to process your visa and it’s non-refundable.
