How many days to visit Kenya?
If you have one to two weeks in Kenya, you may explore many game reserves and national parks, relax on the beaches, and learn about the locals and their culture. Most visitors to Kenya come to go on safari, which can be done easily in as few as five days by staying near Nairobi. With more time in Kenya, you may explore a variety of parks and participate in various activities.
In a week
Internal flights link Nairobi to airstrips around the country, so a week will be enough time to see one or two national parks, such as Lake Nakuru National Park alongside the Masai Mara or Masai Mara and Samburu National Park. For a more daring option, choose a walking safari or a small group camping safari, or for something more relaxing, combine a safari with time at the beach.
In two weeks
Two weeks is a reasonable length of time to get to know Kenya, although you may wish you had remained longer. Most excursions include an overview of the major attractions, such as beaches, national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, and cultural sites. Many excursions, including family vacations are tailored to the individual, and many combine Kenya's attractions with those of neighboring countries such as Tanzania and Uganda.
Two weeks is ample time for a true experience, such as riding a bike across Kenya's attractions. You might also travel across hard desert and poor roads to Lake Turkana, located in one of East Africa's most remote places.
